The Texas Department of Health & Human Services has launched a COVID-19 mental health services support hotline. Please call (833) 986-1919. Counseling services are confidential and free of charge.
Texans can also dial 2-1-1 (option 6) for information on COVID-19 and how to tap into local community resources for help with healthcare, utilities, food, housing, and more.
For additional free help from a professional therapist, you can also call the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services’ Disaster Distress Helpline at (800) 985-5990, for 24/7 counseling and support. Or you can text TalkWithUs to 66746.
