Coming Together in Crisis: Hurricane Beryl

Our communities are proving that together, they can overcome any challenge.

Hurricane Beryl has brought unprecedented challenges to the communities in Southeast Texas. The devastating winds, torrential rains, and widespread flooding have left many residents grappling with loss and uncertainty. However, these communities have demonstrated extraordinary resilience and unity in the face of adversity.

Community-Led Relief Efforts

Right after Hurricane Beryl affected our region, local residents quickly mobilized to provide essential hurricane relief. Neighborhood groups, church communities, and civic organizations organized relief efforts, including:

  • Food and Water Distribution

  • Shelter and Housing Assistance

  • Medical and Psychological Support
