What is the Neurological System?
The nervous system is the body’s central command center. The organs in charge of this system are the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and ganglia. All their organs are made of various tissues, including nerve, blood, and connective tissue. The brain controls all of your movements, thoughts, instinctive responses to the world around you, and every system and process, such as digestion, breathing, thinking, and puberty. Neurological diseases, conditions, accidents, trauma, the use of toxins, and the natural aging process can damage your nervous system acutely or chronically.
